Oil on Canvas by J. Syer – 1870

Lovely very large painting by John Syer, circa 1870. He was a British artist who lived from 1815 to 1885 and is very well documented in all the art books. On the back of the painting is a label stating that this is “Scene on the River Llugwy in North Wales.” This painting has been relined and has a very tiny puncture on the left side by the fence. , 50″ wide x 32 1/2″ high
